A special feature are the private walkways on our 1000 hectare property.The 1 to 2 hr ridge walks reward you with spectacular views of the river and surrounding hill country and even out to the Tasman Sea. A ½ day walk through native bush follows the Pitangi Stream and the trails of our early settlers .If you prefer an 8 hr challenge the Atene skyline walkway is just 4 ks away.
For those cycling the Mountain to Sea cycle Trail , Rivertime is the ideal last night stop before you reach the sea ,40 ks away.
